Metsimaholo Local Municipality
Headed by the Executive Mayor, the Office of the Mayor provides political leadership and strategic direction to the municipality, ensuring that the needs and aspirations of the community remain at the forefront of governance. The Executive Mayor champions service delivery, drives key development initiatives, and oversees the implementation of Council resolutions in alignment with the municipality’s Integrated Development Plan (IDP). Through stakeholder engagement, oversight, and accountability, the Office of the Mayor works to strengthen partnerships, promote transparency, and advance sustainable growth for the benefit of all residents.
Headed by the Municipal Manager, Mr. Basi Motloung, the Office of the Municipal Manager is at the heart of our municipality's operations, ensuring the effective and efficient management of its affairs. As the Accounting Officer, the Municipal Manager oversees the core functions of our municipality, guiding its strategic direction, managing resources, and ensuring that we meet our commitments to our community.
